Medical herbalists successfully blend holistic treatment with a sound understanding of orthodox medicine. It is possible to take herbal medicine safely alongside prescribed drugs, however the herbalist must be fully informed of all medication you are taking to ensure they have no negative interactions with the herbs.
Following the consultation a prescription of herbs, in the form of tincture, dried herbs for tea, creams or lotions is made to suit your individual requirements. Additionally you may be given advice on lifestyle or dietary changes.
